Yes. Integrated care is arguably the most effective way to identify the unique root causes of eczema, given that everyone’s eczema triggers differ. Since 2020, we have worked with patients from Canada, U.S., U.K., Hong Kong, Singapore, South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand. We have worked with mild patches, to bringing near-bedridden individuals with severe eczema into gradual remission.
Most of our clients have visited a western doctor for numerous years and already understand that steroids are only a short-term measure. The medical approach to eczema has been outdated since the 1950s, reliant on drugs. Fortunately, our professional healthcare team is here to provide a structured, proven, and organized method to identify and treat eczema. No more guesswork from online Googling.
It depends on how long you’ve had eczema, your medication history, your current eczema severity, your readiness to change in the future to apply lifestyle changes. People can recover in as short as a few weeks to more than a year. Usually, the significant turning point of symptom improvement happens within 3 to 6 months.
Our founding team are three passionate healthcare professionals coming from medicine, pharmacy and nutrition. In addition, we partner with practitioners in other disciplines like Chinese medicine and nursing to provide a more comprehensive approach to eczema. Finally, our nutrition-focused method is aligned with our chief clinical advisor’s philosophy, of Dr. Sophie Leung, a prominent paediatrician in Hong Kong, specialized in food and eczema.
No. Our core services are the 60-minute consultation and 3-months coaching plan.
No. Patients who visit WeDerm must be already diagnosed with eczema by a medical professional, and we do not replace the role of a medical professional in the pharmaceutical aspects of your eczema regimen. However, we will make suggestions on non-pharmaceutical aspects, i.e., lifestyle changes based on the latest evidence-based clinical guidelines.
